For Coming Late, 16 Ebonyi State Top Officials Lose September And October Salaries September 28, 201515 Dave-Umahi Today, Governor Dave Umahi ordered that 16 top government functionaries should forfeit their Sept. and Oct. salaries and overheads for coming late to a state event.
They came late to a debate competition which was part of activities to mark Nigeria’s 55th anniversary and 19th year of Ebonyi State’s creation. They include commissioners, special advisers, assistants, members of boards, LGA caretaker committee chairmen, the Principal Secretary to the Governor and the Governor himself.
