A soldier was nabbed by trader for stealing an iphone

this morning A soldier was  nabbed by traders at popular Gbagi Plaza in the heart of Warri for stealing an iPhone from one of the stalls.

As of the time of filing this report the young soldier dressed in military camouflage had been beaten black and blue with a deep cut inflicted on the right side of his head.


He was briskly rescued and taken for protection at the house of a retired military officer located at Deco Road, Warri.

Earlier, he was seen being handcuffed by some policemen, while soldiers stationed at the retired officer’s house rescued him from harm’s way. From the retired officer’s house, the culprit was said to have been whisked to the 3 Battalion, Nigerian Army barracks at Effurun.
